“Publish or Perish!” Intensive course on research and publishing in bioethics
Attendance fee before 15 June: 120 Euro (early bird - extended!!!).
Regular attendance: 150 Euro (August 1st 2018).
Registration fee includes: coffee breaks, lunches and one dinner. Accomodation is not included.

Organizers – the Department of Philosophy and Bioethics UJ CM
Event – “Publish or Perish!” Intensive course on research and publishing in bioethics
Customer – a person who is registered, an the event
Terms and conditions – the terms and conditions of the event
- Registration has to be done in a manner determined by the Organizers
- Registration is completed, when a customer receives a confirmation email. The Organizers reserves the right to accept or deny a participant registration
- Sending a registration form is understood as acceptance of hereby Terms and Conditions.
- Early bird registration fee is 120 Euro. Payment has to be booked at the Organizer’s bank account until June 15 2018.
- Standard registration fee is 150 Euro. Registration has to be done till August 1 2018. After issuing a registration fee, a participant receives an invoice.
- If the event is fully-booked the late additions are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Before August 15 2018 cancellation is charged 10 Euro to cover administration costs. Also all costs of transactions are charged from a customer (costs of international transfer and currency conversion).
- After August 15 2018 organizers do not return the conference fee.
- A participant may cancel his/her registration by sending a notification via mail. A cancellation email has to be sent from email addressed used in a registration form.
- Organizers reserves the right to cancel the event for reasons of force majeure without liability to compensation other than a refund of half the fee paid.
- Organizers reserves the right to change the final program of the event.
- A participant is fully responsible for the materials and content she/he presents during the event.
- All learning materials that a participant is provided with are intellectual property of the Organizers and cannot be copied, distributed and published without the Organizer’s permission.
- A participant gives the Organizers her/his permission for using free of charge photos and movies recorded during the event without seeking a participant’s assent each time the photos or movies are used. The permission includes use, recoding, processing and coping of photos and movies by any kind of medium in the statutory activity of the Organizers.
- Filming and recording during the even without Organizer’s permission is forbidden.
- Organizers are not responsible for items lost or left during the event.
- Participants must arrange adequate travel, personal liability and health insurance prior to the event. Organizers are not responsible for the participant’s hotel booking
- Registration for or participation in an event does not grant the customer the right to copy or disseminate the content or format of this event
- In accordance with the Polish data protection act (Ust. z dnia 29 października 1997 nr 133m poz. 883) the Organizer is obliged not to disclose, sell or otherwise dispose of any personal information collected during the registration process. Personal data provided by the participant during the registration process are treated as confidential and will be used only for communication between the participant and the Organizer.
- Any dispute regarding the validity, interpretation or implementation of agreements or the present general terms and conditions for registration falls under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of Poland and Polish law. These courts are expressly recognized and accepted by the customer and by the organizers as having exclusive jurisdiction.
